Local help in Cork

Cork mixes student housing around UCC and Bishopstown with family estates in Douglas, Ballincollig and Carrigaline. Summer moves when college lets turn over keep van and cleaning taskers busy.

Hilly streets in Sunday's Well, Montenotte and St Luke's make removals and deliveries a bit more involved, so describe steps and parking. Gardens across the suburbs need regular cutting through the wet growing months.

Steep streets on the northside and around Shandon mean vans cannot always park at the door, so add a note about steps and distance. The Kinsale Road recycling centre and other county facilities have set hours, which is worth checking before a clearance.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a student flat cleaned near UCC?

Yes. Post the size and move out date, and local taskers send bids.

My house is on a steep hill. Does that matter?

Mention it. Taskers need to know if they have to carry items up steps or a long path.

Can a tasker cut my grass every fortnight in Douglas?

Agree a schedule with a tasker and post each visit as its own task.

Can they bring rubbish to a recycling centre?

Yes. Agree who covers any gate charges before the job.
